ACA in £6.5m buy-out

Print finishing business, ACA Press Cutters Ltd has been acquired in a £6.5m Buyer Induced Management Buy-Out led by Joseph Keenan and Dara Changizi.

Royal Bank of Scotland contributed £3m to the deal through a loan, an Invoice Finance package and Lombard Hire Purchase.

ACA Press Cutters are the market leaders in Scotland, providing print finishing and packaging solutions. Growing from its origins creating Formes for the local print trade to now being Scotland's largest fully integrated print finishing business.

The leadership team will oversee 80 employees in the Inchinnan based business, operating from their 60,000 sq ft premises.

Mr Changizi is a Glasgow based entrepreneur while Mr Keenan is a print industry veteran working for a number of organisations including SCA PAckaging and J Thomson Colour Printers.

The business will focus on modernisation and expansion in key areas including Health & Safety, ISO & BRC Certification as well as investment in new machinery and internal systems.

ACA will also put a strategic emphasis on driving sales growth, organically within its current customer base, as well as new customer acquisitions throughout the UK.
